We like: Yantai TV Tanglang Quan Documentary 烟台电视台《螳螂拳》
Nice short documentary about Tanglang Quan. They talk a little about the origins and characteristics of the general style as well as the four big sub-styles. Their four consist of: Taiji, Taiji Meihua, Qixing, and Liuhe Tanglang. Some might substitute Taiji with Babu here. I guess they made this choice, since it’s a mainland documentary (from Yantai) and Babu is not very big there. Anyway, prepare for some nice demonstrations. However, I have to add that I personally didn’t enjoy the Meihua in this video that much. Continue reading
